Hi,

First of all let me apologize for bringing this point up late in the game.
I've been really busy at work lately and haven't been reading my mail.

I think a site cataloging all the gnome development tools is a great idea,
and should be done. However, I would prefer if you didn't use the
graphics from the gide site.

That blue striped motif is the closest thing we have to a logo for the
gIDE project. It is in our splash screen, on our website, and in our
welcome page for the help browsing tool (which hasn't been committed yet).
I would like this motif to stay associated with gide.

I realize that it isn't particularly original, groundbreaking, or
gide-specific looking. So if you really want to use it there's nothing I
can do to stop you. But I would really appreciate it if we could find a
different set of graphics for the devtools site.

On an unrelated note, the welcome page text will need to be changed. The
original devtool site was discussing the goals and architecture of what
would later become the next generation gIDE project, and its contents
don't necessarily apply to the other development tools (for example,
anjuta and gvd don't use bonobo at all).
