The library locations are found using pkg-config. What is your
$PKG_CONFIG_PATH set to in your jhbuild environment? Try this:
$ jhbuild shell # (a new shell opens)
$ echo $PKG_CONFIG_PATH
It should list something like
/opt/gnome-2-20/lib/pkgconfig:/opt/gnome-2-20/share/pkgconfig:/usr/share/pkgconfig:/usr/lib/pkgconfig.
If not, you may manually it adjust is by setting the values in your
~/.jhbuildrc:
addpath('PKG_CONFIG_PATH', os.join(prefix, 'lib/pkgconfig'))
addpath('PKG_CONFIG_PATH', os.join(prefix, 'share/pkgconfig'))
Hope this helps.
