I agree. gnome-1.4-list and gnome-2.0-list are the ones I remember
thinking were to go away. My understanding is that desktop-devel
is for developing Gnome, and gnome-devel is for developing apps
which use Gnome.
Not that I do either.
gnome-doc-list can probably answer some of the questions: as well
as writing help and docs, it gets questions on applications which
display help, and DTDs, and all manner of stuff I don't understand
when I read it :)
But I thought you asked in the right place :)
