Perl embedding offer

Hi all.

    Hope this is the right place for this.

    Tim Jenness and I are a couple of the Perl development team, and we're
just about to write a book on Perl and C interaction. One of the things we
want to do is give an example of how to embed a Perl interpreter into an
existing software project.

    We need that project. It's gotta be open source, and GNOME is, basically,
the coolest thing out there. Apart from Perl, naturally. So if you've got a 
GNOME project that would benefit having a Perl interpreter jammed into it, 
please contact me off list (I don't subscribe) - simon@brecon.co.uk is the 
best place. Feel free to extend this offer to other worthy causes.
