Samples will continue on samples/vala in order to show new functionality.
Ok, good. Can you keep the examples small to illustrate a specific point? Also, as for all the other examples, it would be good to create an autonomous Makefile file (not in a Makefile.am), see the other examples, and add a README in the samples/vala directory so everyone can know what the example is about, how to run it and what to expect.
