I've had lack of time too, Mike Wingert did a good job writing future 
releases and wants to continue on it in december as i remember.
I got a bug reminder yesterday for the port of the gda-sybase provider, 
but on the other hand i think it would be easier to maintain your own 
code (i.e. for Mike his own when he continues).

But if Mike doesn't mind, i could start on it (maybe a working release
in HEAD in about 4 weeks), and Mike continues on it at least at about 
the end of december when i need the time again.

Mike, what do you think?
