Sorry Gerhard for not having answered before, but this morning I lost a
lot of mails (the gnome-db.org mail server's fault :-), so I just saw
your message on the archives.

this is an old version of gASQL, since these functions were renamed in
gnome-db to gnome_db_error_dialog_*. So, please, try with the latest
tarball Vivien has made which should have this fixed

oops, that's weird. Could you debug the gnomedb-components binary
(setting a breakpoint in open_connection_cb, in the
gnome-db/components/gnomedb-com-connection.c), please?

are you also using Mandrake?
