oops, you shoudl really upgrade to 0.2.3, there have been many changes.
And also, the versions you're using for the rest of the libs, some of
them, are a bit old (GNOME 1.2)

I'd suggest to get gnome-db/libgda 0.2.3, and get the other required
packages from the released GNOME 1.4. You can find all those packages
for your architecure at http://www.ximian.com
