Hi all!
I've just uploaded to ftp.gnome.org RPMS & SRPMS for gnome-db-0.2.0 and
libgda-0.2.0.
I've made them on a Debian machine (I've got no RH at the moment), so
that is why I'm announcing
them only here, so that people install them and tell me whatever
problems they may find.
I'd be very grateful if you can report bugs or just a message saying
"they work ok".
To install libgda you'll need:
* gconf >= 0.9
* oaf >= 0.6.x
* orbit >= 0.5.4
and for gnome-db:
* the same as libgda
* libgda >= 0.2.0
* bonobo >= 0.28
As soon as I get some messages saying that everything's ok, I'll make
the release.
BTW, they were made with rpm-3.0.5-4, which I believe is the version for
RH 6.2. If that's the case
and you're on RH 7.0, you may want to build the SRPMS.
Availability:
* RPMS: ftp://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/stable/redhat/i386/gnome-db
* SRPMS: ftp://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/stable/redhat/SRPMS/gnome-db
NOTE: just install 0.2.0 RPMS. There's been some people installing
oracle provider with a lower
version (0.0.96 in a libgda-0.1.0 installation). There's no Oracle RPMS
for this version, since
I haven't had time to install it. Also, the same applies for Sybase: no
RPMS. As soon as
I install both, they'll be available for later releases. Or if somebody
can build them.
cheers
