OAF is the Object Activation Framework. Its main target is to control
the activation
of CORBA servers like GOAD, but it doesn't need X anymore :-d

Bonobo is the component architecture. Its main target is to let the
developer
build the programs using components already done. I think that Bonobo
now only
uses Gtk for its Object Model, no?
