Unfortunately, i do think that kevin has a certain point, which is
simply that free, shareable resources will have a much greater positive
impact for the Welsh language than paid-for resources, targeted at
public sector bodies. How many more people would use Cysill / Cysgair
now if they were free downloads, for instance?
having said that, there is clearly a big culture change for the whole
public sector to get to grips with the IP / Open Source debate. It's
also undeniable that canolfan bedwyr is already making massive forward
steps with OOo etc.
I'm really glad to hear that a Welsh version of Ispell will be
available; will the word list be open sourced as well?
