Updated Mockups

Hi all,

I've been wanting to improve on the existing contacts design for a
little while, and have recently updated the designs. These include
some of Matthew Solle's ideas, who is a designer from Intel that I
worked with a little while back.

Some of the changes are cosmetic - refining the contact list, changing
the alignment of the contact pane, and so on. The other changes are
potentially more significant:

 * getting rid of the distinction between "my contacts" and "other contacts"
 * using a selection mode in the contact list for deleting and linking contacts
 * using an editing mode in the contact pane, rather than doing in-line editing

The result, I think, is a more compact design which looks better and
makes many actions much more discoverable. I'm pretty confident about
most of it, although the editing mode probably needs some detailed
examination before we go ahead with it. The latest mockups can be
found on Github:
https://github.com/gnome-design-team/gnome-mockups/tree/master/contacts/png

Many of the changes are already described in bug reports. Initial
cosmetic changes:

 * Add contacts button - https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=669576
 * Left-align the contacts pane -
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=688341
 * Add some text to the blank contact pane -
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=671991
 * Contact list layout: Non-standard text sizes; name placement -
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=688304
 * Contacts list background should be grey -
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=688342
 * Inline link suggestions look ugly, can be below the fold -
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=674590

Then we have some bigger bugs... "My contacts" vs "other contacts:

 * gnome-contacts does not show Empathy contacts -
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=676411
 * Use the contacts list for linking and deleting -
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=688343
 * Linking dialog - just show existing linked contacts and suggestions
- https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=688344

That leaves the editing mode work, which I think is probably best to
leave until after some of these other changes.

Thoughts? Opinions? Also, if anyone fancies fixing any of these bugs,
feel free to dive in! :)

Allan
