maybe you're using a different prefix for the libgda/gnome-db
installation than the bonobo one? If so, make sure you link or copy the
libgda/gnome-db .oaf files to /usr/share/oaf (assuming bonobo is in
/usr). Then, once gnome-db starts ok, go to the manager tab, and press
the 'New data source' button, which will start up a wizard for you to
set up a new data source to connect to your database.
