While you're at it, I suggest replacing this with gnome-vfs MIME calls
since the gnome-libs stuff for this is deprecated and will be gone for
GNOME 2 (in addition to having an inferior database that is missing
useful mime types and that contains mappings to strings that are not
mime types at all...)
