It would be much better if this could be handled different from the
normal gettext-approach, so that the user himself could decide which
language's accels to use. There are times when I'm forced to use Word,
and then I prefer to use the english version. It takes very little
time to get used to the ^B-accel. Then, sometimes I end up on a
norwegian installation, and remembering to use ^F instead is hard.
Of course, I do most of my typing in vi, and trying to suppress the urge
to press ESC all the time is much harder.
