ORBit interchangeable with mico 2.3.0??

I'm having trouble making ORBit 0.5.1 
working on AIX 4.3 right now.
It compiled though with xlC 3.6.4.
I've already submitted a bug report.

But I was wondering if I can use mico 2.3.0
instead of ORBit 0.5.1 for now??
So I can continue to port other GNOME libraries
to AIX 4.3....

Please No flames of mico vs ORBit vs other ORBs. 
I need to continue working on porting GNOME 
over to AIX and right now ORBit is blocking me..
