Hi,
I tried to build colord with jhbuild on Ubuntu 13.04 and got the
following error:
...
checking for /usr/share/color/icc/sRGB.icc... yes
checking for /usr/share/color/icc/ProPhotoRGB.icc... no
checking for /usr/share/color/icc/AdobeRGB1998.icc... no
configure: error: shared-color-profiles or a compatible profile set is
required
The files ProPhotoRGB.icc and AdobeRGB1998.icc are not available in
Ubuntu (and Debian).
On both distributions, there's a file with the name
/usr/share/color/icc/compatibleWithAdobeRGB1998.icc . See [1] and [2].
On Ubuntu is another package with more profiles available (see [3]) but
without the needed files.
Are the profiles really needed by colord?
TIA,
Tom
