Camera Support

Hi

I decided to attempt to use a profile with my camera. The camera does
not appear on the list of devices, even when it is plugged in. Am I
missing something? I can import my profiles but I cannot assign them to
a device.

The camera is a Nikon D700. Gnome recognises the camera and allows me to
open a nautilus viewer on the memory card, open photographs etc. I can
see my camera if I do a lsusb and cat /proc/bus/usb/devices shows:

T: Bus=01 Lev=01 Prnt=01 Port=04 Cnt=02 Dev#= 4 Spd=480 MxCh= 0
D: Ver= 2.00 Cls=00(>ifc ) Sub=00 Prot=00 MxPS=64 #Cfgs= 1
P: Vendor=04b0 ProdID=0422 Rev= 1.00
S: Manufacturer=NIKON
S: Product=NIKON DSC D700
S: SerialNumber=000002034583
C:* #Ifs= 1 Cfg#= 1 Atr=c0 MxPwr= 2mA
I:* If#= 0 Alt= 0 #EPs= 3 Cls=06(still) Sub=01 Prot=01 Driver=usbfs
E: Ad=81(I) Atr=02(Bulk) MxPS= 512 Ivl=0ms
E: Ad=02(O) Atr=02(Bulk) MxPS= 512 Ivl=0ms
E: Ad=83(I) Atr=03(Int.) MxPS= 8 Ivl=32ms

If I run gcm in verbose mode:

TI:00:40:05 FI:gcm-colorimeter.c	FN:gcm_prefs_uevent_cb,319
 - uevent add
TI:00:40:05	FI:gcm-colorimeter.c	FN:gcm_prefs_uevent_cb,319
 - uevent add
TI:00:40:13	FI:gcm-profile-store.c
FN:gcm_profile_store_add_profiles_from_mounted_volume,336
 - filesystem mounted on /home/paul/.gvfs/gphoto2 mount on usb%3A001,005
has type gphoto2
TI:00:40:13	FI:gcm-profile-store.c
FN:gcm_profile_store_add_profiles_from_mounted_volume,336
 - filesystem mounted on /home/paul/.gvfs/gphoto2 mount on usb%3A001,005
has type gphoto2

So we see the camera connect. Am I missing something?

I am running off a copy from the GIT
