Problema compilando pyobject com jhbuild

Não estou conseguindo compilar o jhbuild com o GNOME. Eu já tinha
feito isso com sucesso para o GNOME 2.18, inclusive testei várias
traduções assim, mas dessa vez estou esbarrando nesse erro:

Todos os pré-requisitos do jbhuild estão instalados, e todos os meus
pacotes (como o python) vêm automaticamente com a parte -dev, porque
uso gentoo.

Alguém poderia me ajudar a consertar isso?
