Hi,

I faced the same issue. I had to try this workaround: 

Solution: 
To complete the rest of the installation, I had to edit this file located at:

[checkoutroot]/gnome-boxes/src/app.vala

The following two lines needed to be commented in order for the installation to
continue:

 if (Config.HAVE_OVIRT)
            brokers.insert ("ovirt", OvirtBroker.get_default ());
