ANNOUNCEMENT: gnome-keyring 2.24.0

gnome-keyring is the part of the GNOME Desktop that saves your passwords
and encryption keys securely.

This is an stable release for general usage.

Important Notes:

    * gnome-keyring now includes a new library:
      - gp11 (GLib bindings for PKCS#11)

    * gnome-keyring now requires glib 2.16.0

    * Some helpful notes for distributors:

Changes between 2.22.0 and 2.24.0:

    * Try not to prompt twice for the same thing even if a prompt
      was denied, even when an application wants the same thing
      twice in the same session.
    * Better support for PFX and PKCS#12 files.
    * Better storage, creation and indexing of certificates and keys.
    * Add command line tool for importing of keys and certificates.
    * Add gconf schema for noting the desktop's configured
      PKCS#11 modules.
    * When a certificate is in the roots storage, assume it is
      a CA if no basic constraints are present.
    * Add ability of PKCS#11 module to accept a string on its
      reserved initialization argument, similar to NSS's
      libsoftkn3 module.
    * Load all SSH keys in ~/.ssh with file names that match
      id_?sa*. Not just id_rsa and id_dsa as was previously
      the case.
    * Load public SSH keys (ie: *.pub) when needed.
    * Include new GP11 library, which is GLib bindings for PKCS#11
    * Add ability to import keys/certificates to PKCS#11.
    * Import the LANG environment variable into daemon enviroment
      so that dialogs display with correct translations.
    * Many other minor fixes.
    * Add --disable-acl-prompts option to disable all ACL
    * UI and HIG fixes.

Changes between 2.23.92 and 2.24.0:

    * Update documentation for functions in gp11 library.
    * Fix for keyboard ungrabbing when minimizing the password
      prompt window, and handle grab errors in a better manner.
    * Fix problems compiling with gcc 4.3.
    * Make PKCS#11 init_args stay in memory since some modules
      require this. [Joe Orton]
    * Make all glib/gtk error messages go to syslog from the
      ask tool.
    * When prompting for a password on import, don't go into
      an endless loop for blank passwords.
    * Fix bugs when cloning a keyring item to be part of
      another keyring.
    * Don't add additional extensions on storage files
      when the extension is already correct.
    * Load all PK objects when a session is opened, regardless
      of whether a C_FindObjects is run or not.
