New version of gtm (0.4.6)

Hi everybody, it's a long time since the last time I posted to this
list. Anyway here it goes the release 0.4.6 of GTM.

For those of you who don't know gtm (GNOME Transfer Manager), gtm is
capable of downloading files from the network using FTP and HTTP
protocols.

The program is also capable of continuing the downloads and accepts drag
and drop of URL from netscape. You can dnd to the program or to the
applet (applet dnd is very usefull if you have a small monitor).

You can even dnd from gmc and gftp (need at least gftp version
2.0.5a). This means more than one URL at a time.

And now there is galeon (http://galeon.sourceforge.net/) which uses GTM to
do the transfers. It's the first client I saw (beside the gtm_applet in
gtm distribution) to communicate with GTM throught CORBA.

If you want to know more visit gtm page

You can download the source code, RPM (RedHat 7.x) or SRPM.

Changes since version last version (0.4.5):

        * New dialog box to add a list of files to be downloaded differing
only in a sequence number (code contributed by Matthew Tuck
        <matty chariot net au>).

        * Fixed lot of error messages showing when network was down (thanks
to Gianluca Montecchi <gianluca pluto linux it> for the patch)

        * Scroll the file list to make the file just started visible
        (automatically or manually started)

        * Applet properly resizes to different panel sizes

        * Fixed incorrect CORBA communication error messages reported to the
        user

        * Applet transparency problems solved. Now the applet properly
sets its background with different GTK themes and panel backgrounds

        * GTM and GTM applet now set their icons (looks cool when iconized)
        * Fixed wget timeout bad argument

        * Added ability to drag files from GTM, also the new file dialogs
        now accept drag data.

It's all for now.

Bruno
