New Gnome Documentation Project

Today we are happy to announce a newly organized, revitalized GNOME
Documentation Project. More information can be found at <a

With this new organization, and the addition of more writers, the
GNOME Documentation Project will be able to keep the user and
development documentation more up to date and make sure all of GNOME
has documentation.

The GDP will be providing (and coaxing others to write) on-line help,
programming references, interface guidelines, application manuals,
printed books, tutorials, and more.

One important aspect of this new organization will be the emphasis on
getting others involved with the creation of useful documentation for
GNOME, from applets to widgets to spreadsheets.
