Yes they are. But they are worry with GTK4 as some deprecated widgets
are removed while they are used for MATE desktop. I hope solutions exist
?ithout breaking softness, flexibility of design.

Mate has had a GTK 3 build for a while now, and in fact for 1.18 I think they
