iso image creation with gnome

If you have a directory tree say starting in the books directory with 
directories having book titles under the books directory and mp3 files 
inside the book titles directories and want to create an iso image of the 
entire books directory tree and all of its contents with gnome that 
brasero can later burn to a cd or dvd how would something like this be 
done for us orca users?
