Speaking for the gnome-accessibility list, it is appropriate to post a
general announcement of Vibuntu's availability, but not constant update
information other than version revisions. It is relevant for us to know
about the various projects out there, but not for specific updates. For
that, each project should have its own mailing list.

It isn't about being grumpy. It's about relevancy. Non-relevance
breeds grumpiness. This list is dedicated to the overall GNOME
accessibility development and the things we discuss here are not
necessarily directed at any single distribution. However, as I've said
before to you, if you want to keep people up to date on the happenings
of Vibuntu, you should consider registering your blog to the
www.planet-a11y.net feed aggregator. It is read by a broad a11y
community and its readership increases steadily.

Again, its not about a democratic process, it's about relevancy to the
intent of the mailing list, be it this one or any other list. There's a
reason why there is no one giant mailing list for everything under the
sun.
