Best way to get Edgy.

Hi all,
I would like to be a tester for Ubuntu Edgy, but I can't get the daily 
isos for Edgy. They change them faster than I can download them. For 
example, I was downloading Sep. 02 from this weekend got about 80% of it 
downloaded,got busy, went back tonight to finish the download only to 
find they have nuked the 20060902 directory which means I must start all 
over from scratch. Needless to say I am fuming at the two days of 
downloading down the toilet, and have to start from the beginning with 
at least the 20060905 version.
Now, someone had mentioned grabbing the knot-2 version. What is the 
major difference between knot-2 and the daily builds?
I'm wondering if the folks at Ubuntu might create a weekly build 
directory that gets updated weekly with the best build of that week so 
that us on slower connections can get more-or-less bleeding edge test 
builds without worrying about the directory vanishing in two or three days.
