Will gnome work on 300 mhz w 128 mb ram?

Hi.

I found are very first computer today and now it has 128 mb ram and a
total of 40 gb diskspace.
There was only one thing that i couldn't improov coz of the mb that
was in it and that was the processer.
I'm just wondering if gnome will work on this spec in conjunction with orca?
Any ideas about which distro would be great aswell.
