Re: What Do These Messages Mean?

Thanks for checking into this. The screensaver may not be causing 
problems. However, if I start Gnome (with Gnopernicus, of course) and then 
switch to a text console something interferes periodically with what I am 
doing on the text console. There will be long delays in response, and 
sometimes strange characters appear on the screen. This happens at 
irregular intervals. I would like to start Gnome and leave it running so I 
could switch back and forth between it and other work, but this problem 
makes that impractical. So I wind up using Gnome much lessd than I 
otherwise might.

Suggestions appreciated!
