I'm not sure where it is getting started.  Debian includes several files
in it's default session run with startx or a gdm log in.  I looked
around, but didn't find it.  The screen saver doesn't seem to cause 
gnopernicus problems, so it's probably safe to leave it alone.

Debian's default screen saver is cool according to my sighted girl friend.
The people who designed it have a strange sense of humor because sometimes
it shows what looks like an error from a total system crash.
