gnopernicus and CD writing software

Hi!
I am new to this list.
I have a question about gnopernicus and CD writing software.
The question is is writing cds easier to do using gnopernicus?
I ask this as someone who is thinking of migrating to Linux but not sure
whether to have a Linux only system or Linux and Windows when I buy a new
PC.
I have read some documentation on CD writing under Linux and from what I
have read, the commands seem complicated.  As someone who used DOS on the
first PC I had, I should have some idea of commands for somethings like
changing directories.
Does the gnopernicus screenreader support CD Writing software and if so,
should I use this if I have a Linux only system?
Hope someone can give me some advice.
