Re: Speech has died - How do I discover the cause and fix?

Hi, Gena.
try removing your .gnome2 directory from your home directory, and letting
gnome recreate it when you run startx again.
You will also have to reset the ggconf accessibility key before loading
gnome so keep that in mind if you choose to kill the .gnome2 directory.
If that fails a trick I sometimes try is uninstall gnome-speech and re
install it.
