Re: no speech out of gnopernicus except welcome



Sure, Bill, I'll take you up on this. I have two independ installs of Red Hat 9 on my Thinkpad. Only /usr/local (and /home, etc) are shared between the two. I did this
precisely to be in a position to test things.

Let me know what you want me to do. 

PS: My test bed is clean of KDE and GNOME by intent. I have tested that X starts and checked the logs--no GNOME and no KDE.
