Indeed.

Actually, brltty can do both. When "sliding windows" are activated (in
the preferences menu, say), the whole window moves when the cursor comes
to its right end. The motion is however not character by charter. It
must be something like a 10-chahacters move.

This certainly depends on situations and tastes.

I'd say both behaviours should be available. And even better: why not
let people also configure the size of the window-shift ?
