[g-a-devel]errors with the ViaVoice driver for gnome-speech

Hi.  I am getting the following error when attempting to run test-speech
with the ViaVoice server.

Atempting to activate

The ViaVoice driver compiles with no wornings or errors.  The file
eci.ini is located in my home directory.  My .bash_profile contains the
following line

export ECIINI=/home/kennyhitt

Of course, kennyhitt is my user ID on this system.

I am running Debian unstable, so I don't have the c++ lib required by
ViaVoice.  My libs are a new version.  To get the inigen program to run,
I created a synbolic link to my current lib with the name of the lib the
inigen program says it wants.  The eci.ini file is generated and I will
attach it to this message.

Could some one please tell me what might be wrong so I can fix it?
