Hi,
I have to install ATK (Accessibility Toolkit), atk-1.2.0.
Following
error occurs after executing "./configure" in shell prompt.
checking for pkg-config... /usr/local/bin/pkg-config
checking for GLIB - version >= 2.0.0... no
*** Could not run GLIB test program, checking why...
*** The test program failed to compile or link. See the
fileconfig.log
for the exact error that occured. This usually means GLIB is
incorrectly installed.
configure: error:
*** GLIB 2.0.0 or better is required. The latest version of
*** GLIB is always available from ftp://ftp.gtk.org/.
I have installed pkgconfig-0.15.0. I have GLIB as default in my
system
(Red Hat Linux 7.2, kernel 2.4.7-10). I confirmed this by
executing
the following command in shell prompt and the output is as
follows.
[root Suriya atk-1.2.0]# rpm -qa | grep glib
glibc-2.2.4-13
glibc-common-2.2.4-13
glib-1.2.10-5
glib-devel-1.2.10-5
glibc-devel-2.2.4-13
How to overcome the aforesaid error?
