platform http ibrary

hi guys,

	i mainly was doing a laissez-faire type of thing with the http library,
figuring that the consensus was that gnome-http would be deprecated. but
was an alternative decided upon? if it's not a huge undertaking, i could
probably be persuaded to add the ncessary features to gnome-http. can
anyone provide a checklist of sorts as to what it would need, or what
the current plan for replacing it is?
