Absolutely. In a corporate network this would be a real feature. At
work we do this with Win2k. I can log in anywhere on a win2k box on the
corporate network and expect to get the same services/files anywhere.
This is because the profiles for win2k are stored on servers based on
what NT domain you're in. Something similar could be done where it
remembers what your mount points were etc. This would be a sysadmin wet
dream.
