Whaaat?! Was I present when we had this conversation about assigning
work to me? :-)

I remember you said it would be fiddly to port, so I distinctly didn't
volunteer, but I did stop porting the other battery applet until some
resolution happened.

More seriously, since it has to be ported and since I'm going to be sans
internet connection, but with a laptop for the latter half of this week,
I can do the port. However, I would prefer that the code was moved off
sourceforge and into GNOME CVS on the the grounds that (1) all the main
gnome "stuff" should be available in one place and (2) Sourceforge
regularly seems to have performance problems -- more so than GNOME --
and there's not a lot more frustrating than spending and hour or so
trying to sync up and commit stuff.
