The really, really easy solution is to post all changes to the list
and discuss them; to make sure we have clear maintainers who approve
things and revert unauthorized commits; track stuff in bugzilla; to
generally be sure that changes get reviewed and that progress is sane.
The RFP policy for large decisions would also be good.

Anyhow: George has posted the list of proposed changes, Michael and
others are discussing those, Anders will make the final call. Then
let's move on. And in the future, do gnome-libs changes one at a time
with separate posts and patches for each modification, and enough lead
time to let people review the changes adequately. Same as for most
other libraries.
