[gnet] Upcoming GNet release

Hi everyone,

seems like it's been almost one and a half years since the last GNet
release, who would have thought (certainly not me). About time to do
another release, I think.

If you are developing with GNet or using it, please give the current CVS
version a shot. If you run into any issues, please file bugs in bugzilla
[1] as soon as possible. If you have any unsubmitted patches or API
additions that you think should go into the release, please also file
them there. Thanks!
