hi
i am stuck to using version 1.10.1 on a fedora core 11 system (library
dependencies prevent me from compiling 1.12.4), so this might have been
solved. it seems that commit d2c6d449d83ad4ced51fed4ed00a33e2d0be02ec
deals with this (or a similar) problem.
i am importing csv data as below
"string","string2","s, s2"
after the import, the double quotes become part of the values ("string1"
is in the database, not string1). glom seems not to strip the field
delimiter ("). i can partly circumvent the problem, by manually removing
the double quotes before importing but then the last field becomes a
problem. here the semi colon is part of the string, not the field separator.
regards
