[Glade-users] StatusBar with embedded ProgressBar

I am just guessing that a StatusBar is terminal, in the sense: not meant
to have children, despite that it derives from Container.  (Maybe
internally it has children.  Probably the documentation is very sparse
since StatusBar is so low in the chain.)

Have you tried a Hbox with children StatusBar and ProgressBar?

Do you want both to be visible always?  (It seems to me that some apps
might be showing both in the same area, but only one or the other, not
both at the same time.)
