Hi.
When I encountered situation like this, I simply created parent vbox
that holds all of my subsections of the GUI and then show/hide then
based on demand. For sample implementation, you can have a look at
Imagination (imagination.sf.net), where preview and overview modes are
handled this way (the GUI is not created using Glade, but the
principle still holds).
For a minimalistic demo, I created sample GtkBuilder UI so you can see
how things can be done.
