[Glade-users] LIBGLADE: ALL WIDGETS SHOW ON STARTUP

Using libglade-2.0, I have the following problem:
As soon as the program starts up and encounters "glade_xml_new(...)",
all widgets described in the .glade file show up simultaneously.
I can't understand what I have got wrong
Would really appreciate help
