[Glade-users] building glade output with g++

Hello,
   I am running version with version 0.6.2 and those problems popped out with different versions. However, I
have just upgraded with the latest release and will test this morning. Maybe...

What version of Glade are you running. I don't know much about g++, but
in the change log for Version 0.5.11 it claims to have updated some
problems with G++.

   * *Version 0.5.11 (Oct 1 2000)*
         * Added workaround for SEGV bug in GnomeMessageBox in
           gnome-libs 1.2.3.
         * A few changes in the generated code to keep g++ happy.
         * Added gtk_widget_grab_focus() and
           gtk_widget_activate_default() to the lists of standard
           signal handlers.
         * Changed the widget tree view so it automatically expands to
           show selected widgets.
         * Updates to Russian, Swedish, French, Korean and Japanese
           translations.

Hello,
     I am trying to build a project (with a glade interface). The project was built when glade-- was not
supporting a lot of widgets we were using so we were outputting regular c code, compiling everything with
the g++ compiler, linking and we were all happy ;)

     However, we have just upgraded to RH 7.1 with the 2.96 compiler. Up to the 2.95 compiler, we could
(with the -pedantic option) get everything to compile with a few warnings to interface.c.

     Now, with 2.96, warnings have become errors. Is there a way to get the file to compile ? Since many
of the callbacks we use require access to libraries (C++) we can't just build the whole thing with gcc.

     I would really appreciate if anyone has any idea on how to use g++ to make interface.c compile
correctly.  Thanks in advance !
