[gitg] gitg Ubuntu PPA?

Hi!

Congratulations on the recent release, it's great to see the porting 
effort having paid off!

I was wondering, is there gonna be an Ubuntu PPA (ideally 
releases+develop versions), Debian .deb or something similar going to be 
made by the maintainers (or someone else) in the future?
I would offer to do this myself, but I've never packaged before, and I 
don't think I'll be able to maintain any PPA on a regular basis, so I'd 
rather not.
