Re: [Gimp-user] Google Chrome OS

Hi Matthew. In the old days Chrome OS was its own platform,
but from what i see now they have the option to turn on Linux in settings.
If you dont have the option to turn on Linux you wont be able to do it.
There are actually many tutorials out there to replace the Chrome OS with
Linux,
that's a lot more complicated. I hope you have the Linux option, because
then you could install a lot more
Linux apps. The way I learned about Unix or Linux then, was when Macs
changed over to Unix based,
and then they had the command mode and I went on from there.
Let us know if it works.

Hello,

I recently purchased a Samsung Galaxy Chromebook. I tried to download GIMP
but it did not work. I know there is something called Linux that is
available to download on the chromebook, I just don't know anything about
it and didn't really care, until now. If I get this Linux program on my
chromebook will I be able to download GIMP?

Thanks
Matthew
