[Gimp-user] Levels glitch

Hi,

In the last couple of days I have found that when I use levels and select,
for example, the grey dropper, the area chosen goes gray, but only as long
as I hold the mouse button down. I release the button and it goes back to
the colour it was before. Same with white and black droppers. I reinstalled
Gimp, but same happens.

Any thoughts? I don't believe I have changed any settings and certainly not
tweaked anything since my reinstall.
