[Gimp-user] Can't install on OS Catalina

Hello, Hopefully someone can walk me through this, This is a brand new MacBook
and when setting it up it went into a Catalina update and here I am... I've got
the GIMP 2.10 installer on my desktop, I right click on it, a windows opens with
GIMP 2.10.app, and that's as far as I get. I "open" the the GIMP-2.10.app and
nothing, I don't wind up with a GIMP app and literally nothing happens. No app
in launchpad or finder. Greatly appreciate help!
